Just as the Wright Flyer inspired taking to the skies, this distinctive pale ale is of the family of flavors that prompted a renaissance in ale drinking in the United States.  The delicate combination of malt and hops in this drink harkens to the fabric and wire of the incredible flyer, while the fruitiness of special yeast takes the palate on turns reminiscent of the best wing warping.  This is a popular ale with the Wright Stuff.

One of the most celebrated accomplishments in history, the Wright Flyer was the first manned, powered aircraft to prove controlled flighT.

Building upon experiments of glider pioneers Otto Lilienthal and Octave Chanute, Orville and Wilbur Wright, bicycle makers from Dayton, Ohio awed the world, and their dog FLYER, with their successful flights on the sand dunes of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina in December 1903.

This technological breakthrough left much of the world in disbelief, inspiring the rapid growth in aeronautics and transportation over the last century. The original Flyer is displayed in the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum.
